We are excited to announce that the Loop Road construction is now complete. Before we begin the new carpool process, we want to ensure that everyone is well-prepared. Our dedicated division heads, administrative teams, and our security and operations teams are actively collaborating on logistics and testing various scenarios to guarantee a smooth transition for all Lovett families. To assist you in getting acclimated, our traffic engineers have compiled Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), organized by division, below. We encourage you to review the information to familiarize yourself with the new carpool logistics.

Timeline
A crucial aspect of enhancing the efficiency of our new carpool routes involves adjusting the timing of the traffic signal at Northgate Drive and Northside Parkway. We are pleased to share that the City of Atlanta and GDOT have approved these adjustments to accommodate traffic flows. The first step is to closely observe the traffic patterns to determine the necessary adjustments. They request three weeks, without holidays, half days, or other interruptions, to do so.
With those requirements in mind, the new carpool process will begin on January 8. Prior to that, during the first week of January, we will pilot the afternoon procedures for kindergarten families only.
Please be aware that adjustments will likely be necessary throughout the first few weeks as GDOT fine-tunes the timing of the traffic signals on Northside Parkway in real-time.

Families are invited to campus from 1:00-3:30 p.m. for a sneak-a-peek drive through of the Loop Road. Beginning at 1:00 p.m., our security team will be at various posts along the road to provide assistance and answer questions. |

Wednesday, January 3 - Friday, January 5 |
We will pilot the afternoon procedures with kindergarten families who are picking up their kindergarten children at 2:15 p.m. This will only apply to kindergarten families and only for the afternoon. |

Monday, January 8 |
Full implementation (morning and afternoon) of the new carpool procedures begins for all K-12 students. |
